Wishlist is a gift list app made by one person. You keep lists of things you would like, you can share a list with the people buying for you, and you can reserve a gift on someone else's list so two people do not buy the same thing. It covers the iPhone app, the Mac app, and getwishlist.app. Using any of them means these terms apply to you.
The app is free, and it is run as a personal project rather than a business. It is provided as it is, with no promise that it will always be available or that nothing will ever go wrong.
You need an account to keep lists, and you have to be 13 or older to have one. What you put in the app is yours. Keep access to your email address, because that is how you sign in.
There is no tolerance for objectionable content here. Do not use Wishlist to:
A list is private until you share it. When you make one visible to friends or hand out its link, anyone holding that link can open it without an account and read everything on it: the list name, the item names, your notes, and any image you uploaded. Your profile page works the same way. Once you claim a handle, its link shows your display name and picture to anyone who opens it.
Links can be forwarded, and a page that has been open on the internet may have been copied or indexed elsewhere. Share a list the way you would tell someone a secret: only with the people you meant to tell. You can stop sharing at any time by making the list private or archiving it, and the link stops working straight away.
Every shared list and every profile page carries a Report link. It opens an email to support@getwishlist.app with the page already filled in, so all you have to write is what is wrong. You can also write to that address directly.
Reports are read by one person and usually answered within a day or two. Anything that breaks the rules above is taken down, and the account behind it may be removed.
You can delete your account from inside the app on any platform, without asking anybody. The app shows you what will be destroyed before it happens, and deletion cannot be undone.
An account that is used for anything in the list above can be suspended or removed, and content that breaks these rules can be taken down. Where there is a choice, you will be told why. Where somebody is being harmed, it happens first and the explanation follows.
These terms will change as the app does. The date at the top always says when they last did.
