While you wait, you see no names. Friends see only that a gift is spoken for, never who claimed it. After the list's date, or whenever you choose to reveal a list with no date, you see who reserved what. Anyone who reserved anonymously shows as Someone.
Nothing is shared until you share it, either. A list is private until you hand out its link or make it visible to friends.
